En marge su sacro-saint SARKOVAL du 1er mai, se déroulait en Ardèche un VRAI Teknival organisé par un anglais bien connu tant du gouvernement que des adeptes des Oldschools rassemblements.
Les forces de l'ordre ayant très vite eu vent de l'événement, tentèrent de stopper tous les véhicules désireux d'entrer pour poser leur son par ce beau week-end de printemps.
Malheureusement pour les Robocops, les participants furent bien moins dociles que leurs confrères "moutons" du Sarkoval. Très vite, les Teknivaliers encerclèrent les camions de la Police Nationale afin de laisser circuler librement camions et voitures.
Dépassés par tant de motivation, les hommes en bleus ont abdiqué et laissé le Teknival suivre son court jusqu'au dimanche soir.
Aucun débordement ni incident n'est à déplorer, mis à part une blessure profonde dans l'égo des forces de l'ordre, privée de leur rôti avec bobonne en cette commémoration du travail !
Seul point noir de ce Teknival : le peu de sound systems ayant eu le courage d'assumer leurs engagements dans le milieu alternatif.
Gros point positif : une auto-gestion totale, un vrai DIY > les camions-frites et autres sound systems loués chez Kiloutou étant tous au SARKOVAL ! Une ambiance à l'ancienne avec vieux camions, déco colorée et sound systems gérant eux-même nourriture et prévention...

A teknival from the Government
Following the official announce of the government about a Teknival in Crucey, The French "Collectif des Sound Systems" had to react.
This event is organized by the Interior Ministry (who officially says that they are subjected to it), not only without any consultation of us but also in direct competition with the teknival that we are supporting.
After 5 years of negociations, the situation of the free non commercial tekno movement haven't evolved. We have largely proved our good will and cannot be satisfied with just some more promises.
We asked, in exchange of accepting the government participation to this event, some precise engagements from the concerned ministries, principally the engagement of a work planning (6 months) to promote the non commercial cultures (small independent festival ; free-party ; teknival and all other kind of cultural events).
We asked for this cultural difference to be officially backed by the law and to receive help for this from the following ministries :
– Ministry of Culture, for the acknowledgement of the amateur non commercial artistic culture ;
– Ministry of Justice, to get finally to be applied the laws concerning us ;
– Ministry of Health, as the tekno movement was the first to ask for drug prevention and risks reduction ;
– Ministry of Youngness, as they are in charge of associative life organization.
Due to the lack of official engagements on their side, we announced to the Interior Ministry our intention to not accept their help in the preparation of this event. this Ministry is trying, by announcements in the press, to organize its own event, to prevent the autonomous Teknival organized by the French Sound Systems.
when the government is trying to organize a teknival without the agreement of the sound Systems, it is like the world turning upside down !
This attempt of takeover on our cultural events is unacceptable.
We wanted to inform you that the teknival supported by the French "Collectif des Sound Systems" will be held in a scret place far from Normandy. It will starts on the 1st may and will last till the 4th may 2008.
Also, the event organized by the government will happen without any coordination from our side and without the help of the Risks Reduction associations who will go to the autonomous Teknival.
The governement has to take his own organizers responsibilities and stop to claim that they are subjected to it !
